The Brown Market Shares Program (BMSP) is a student-run, campus-based food distribution program connecting the Brown community with regional producers through affordable weekly shares of fresh, local, and sustainable produce, bread, eggs, dairy and meat.

We're hiring!

Market Shares is an entirely student-run organization of volunteers that is headed by a team of seven coordinators. Though there is significant time spent in close collaboration, each student coordinator is also responsible for managing specific components of the program.

The Brown Market Shares Program is now hiring for six coordinating positions! We're looking for applicants who are passionate about food and excited to join our team to run this dynamic and fast growing program. The available positions are PR, Communications, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, and Subsidized.

The coordinating team spends a significant amount of time in close collaboration. However, each student coordinator is also responsible for managing specific components of the program. Though they share a love of food systems, coordinators are drawn from a fairly wide variety of academic disciplines. Those who have volunteered with the program in the past are particularly encouraged to apply when positions become available, though we’ll happily accept applications from all Brown students.

Love and Lettuce,

The BMSP Team
