OPERATIONS/purchasing coordinator

As Operations and Purchasing Coordinator, Zane’s job is to make Market Day the best experience possible for you and the volunteers. Zane also works with local farmers and producers to curate balanced shares each week. He studies Cell and Molecular Biology and is particularly interested in the intersection of biology and agriculture. Zane enjoys finding creative uses for his produce in the kitchen, bouldering, and taking care of his house’s two cats: George and Bokki. He is excited to continue exploring local sourcing options to provide diverse and exciting produce, while making sure weekly shares continue to be accessible and usable.

Amelia Laboda ‘25
subsidized coordinator

As Subsidized Coordinator, Amelia is responsible for maintaining and expanding the subsidized program. Outside of Market Shares, Amelia is studying Illustration and Environmental Studies in the Brown/RISD Dual Degree Program and enjoys reading, singing, and the Great Lakes. She considers herself a reformed picky eater, but still can’t be persuaded on asparagus. She hopes to ensure the subsidized program reaches its full potential, allowing as many families as possible to have access to fresh, locally sourced food.

Finance Coordinator

As Finance Coordinator, Jasper is responsible for managing all payments, invoices, and other financial transactions for Market Shares. She studies Archaeology and loves learning about food networks, both ancient and modern! She has a deep love for the ocean, music, tomatoes and is currently attempting to successfully knit her first sweater! She is excited to continue to expand access to sustainable and affordable local produce!

Public relations coordinator

As Public Relations Coordinator, Iman oversees the identity of Brown Market Shares and creates content for the weekly newsletter, website, and social media platforms. She studies Environmental Science and Economics and loves learning about local food systems and agriculture. Iman is currently teaching herself how to skateboard, and also loves to eat Thai food and ice cream!

As Communications Coordinator, Tee is the point of correspondence between shareholders and the coordinating team. They’re also responsible for managing and maintaining all records and sign-ups. Tee studies Geobiology and Music, and is especially passionate about environmental law and equity, listening to and playing interesting music, reading good books, and drinking tea!
